Welcome, CEmen and CEgals!

For the first time, our humble abode of bandwidth has its own encyclopedia, to do with what we like. To chronicle ourselves. To allow you, dear reader, to, in essence, make history. We are now free to fad it up and educate our new brethren upon their entrance of the rather colourful and dashing history of our forum.

This is Seefu Sefirosu here, one of your (as of now) two friendly neighborhood sysops. I'm here to lay down a few guidelines, so that a sense of order is kept within this place, while still allowing a free flow of information.

Ready to get started on our journey to greatness? Please observe these rules below:

1) Usage of correct grammar and spelling is not only encouraged, but required. This is first and foremost a resource tool for our board, not a circus act. Now, while our forum may at times certainly appear to be a three-ring sideshow, our encyclopedia should not. The usage of non-standard English outside of direct quotes of users is frowned upon.

2) No spam. Anywhere. There should be absolutely no spam whatsoever on this site, and any users who spam edits on pages or harass or troll with spam will be forcefully ejected from the community, with as little warning as the particular sysop feels like.

3) No shitty pages. No pages about stupid shit no one gives a good goddamn about. This includes anything about boards which aren't related to CE.

4) No user pages about non-notable users. Don't make a user page about someone who isn't actually popular or notable. Meaning a page on Butters? Okay. A page on xburyxyourxkidsx? I'd allow it. A page on SBAllen? Go for it, he used to be one of us. A page on TorpidPulsar? Probably not, seeing as I just randomly picked that name from the topic list.

5) No screaming about sysop abuse. This is a privately-run site, paid for by FireCrotch/Jack Huddleston/Minamoto/he's got too many damned alts to list. We run this show. Yeah, we're probably going to be arbitrary about deleting some stuff as we see fit. Too bad.

6) NO COPYRIGHTED INFORMATION WITHOUT PERMISSION, FOR THE LOVE OF JESUS. Just don't do it. If you don't have permission, and it's copyrighted, don't bother putting it up unless you credit it.

7) Articles should maintain a neutral point of view. This one's pretty simple. Neutral point of view. Got it?

8) Articles about other GameFAQs-related subjects should in some way reflect their relation to Current Events. For example, the article about Random Insanity should contain only information about interactions between RI and CE (board wars, etc). This is NOT WikiFAQs, and you do not need to make articles about GameFAQs as a whole. For articles that have pages at WikiFAQs already, you can add the WikiFAQs template to the TOP of the page, like so: {{WikiFAQs}} This adds a message to the top of the page that more information may be available at WikiFAQs, as well as a link to the WikiFAQs article with the same name. If the article is titled differently on WikiFAQs, you may use this format: {{WikiFAQs|title=PageTitle}}, replacing PageTitle with the appropriate page title from WikiFAQs.

Follow these simple rules, and we will be just fine and dandy here.

Note that this is not GameFAQs, BUT, some semblance of decorum must be kept here. If it's bannable to post on GameFAQs, DON'T PUT IT HERE, lest we be unable to link this site in our posts.

Have fun.

P.S. Don't ask to be a sysop. Users who show maturity, positive leadership, and make exceptional contributions to the wiki will be considered for a promotion to sysop, and will be contacted by an administrator.

Now get going!
