CEmen (singular: CEman) is a term used by Current Events users to describe themselves. Although the term is often used to specifically refer to the male population, it can be used as a general term to include both male and female users (sometimes CEtizens is used instead to avoid ambiguity). More specific terms for CEmen include "CEgals", who are the female users of Current Events, and "the CElite", which refers to users who probably spend too much time on Current Events.

Etymology

The etymology of CEmen most likely traces back to some prehistoric (c. 2005) Current Events user who thought semen was funny.
